What is speciality coffee?

Beans that have been graded with a score of above 80 out of 100. Anything below is commodity grade coffee

How do you decaffeinate your beans?

We only select speciality beans that have been decaffeinated using the Sparkling Water process, which is the only certified organic process for removing caffeine from the beans. So you aren’t replacing caffeine with a chemical nasty. It's good.

How do I get Good Folk stocked in my local cafe or store?

I can't remember to order and I keep running out what shall I do?

Take out a subscription and we’ll do it all for you. You just tell us what and when and where.

What’s the best way to brew coffee, I don't have a fancy machine?

While it's always nice to have a gorgeous and enviable piece of kit, you really don't need to spend your well earned dollar on kit.  Push and drip methods offer low cost excellent ways of making coffee, the Aeropress delivers clean crisp fantastic coffee in quick time,while pour over like the V60 or Chemex offer a slightly more leisurely pour with exceptional clarity. Or if you are feeling a bit Betty Blue, the stove top method can give you a robust rich hit for those who like their coffees short.

Do I need a grinder?

The answer is yes but also no.Yes because coffee ground on demand is fresher and you can control the coarseness of the grind to suit your preference. No, because we can grind for you!
